RIP Sinead.
Wondrously gifted singer, and fiercely intelligent, highly amusing, complex, uncompromising, provocative woman with many demons. Knew her for 35 years & we had some ferocious spats but also some great Guinness-fuelled make-ups. She was a unique character. Very sad day. 💔
BREAKING NEWS: I’ve just been told that my favourite dark chocolate red wrapper Bounty bars have been discontinued, and this is the last one left in my dressing room stockpile. I’m outraged. This will cause immeasurable harm to my mental health. Please reconsider @marswrigley – urgently.
Meet my new buddy, Cooper Murray. He has Down’s syndrome and was found abandoned on a street corner in China in 2012 when he was just six months old. After a few years in an orphanage he was adopted by an American family, the Murrays, and is now travelling the US, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at all 30 MLB stadiums to try and get other kids like him adopted from foster care. He’s such a nice young man, on a brilliant mission. As his parents said: ‘His journey is a testament to the power of opportunity, sometimes all a kid needs is a chance.’ Read up about him and his campaign here: teamcoop21 Manhattan, New York

Happy 30th Birthday, No1 @spencermorgan – it’s been a helluva fun ride being your dad. Very proud of you, not least for actually making it to 30.

4yrs ago today, I lost my manager and great friend, John Ferriter. This was one of the last dinners we had together in LA, five months earlier, and it was a typical John night.. crazy stuff like this random encounter with @arianagrande just always seemed to happen whenever we met up. It was one of my favourite nights with him and we laughed all the way home afterwards. I’ve never replaced him as manager because it turned out he really was irreplaceable. RIP mate, I miss you.
Me really enjoying Australia’s snail-like batting today. 💤

ps Thanks for a great day @michaeldaffey The Oval Cricket Ground
Great night at The Sun’s brilliant Who Cares Wins awards show, superbly hosted by devilishly divine Davina. So many wonderfully deserving winners, and another reminder that our NHS may not be perfect but it’s still the envy of the world.
Sat next to my old mate Harry Redknapp, who was on hilarious form albeit a little nervous about Sunday’s North London Derby.. as he should be, Arsenal are going to pulverise Spurs. Roundhouse, Camden
Great interview with Eddie Hearn on the show last night. He talked such sense about the need to make kids understand why winning matters, losing shouldn’t get a prize, unisex school sports events are absurdly unfair to girls, transgender athletes shouldn’t be competing against biological females, and sport is the best way for young people to learn the value of discipline, hard work, mental resilience and respect. Thanks for coming on @eddiehearn !
Thommo!
What a treat to be at the Test match with the fastest bowler in the history of world cricket, and such a brilliant bloke. Never sledged a batsman. As he just told me: ‘Why tell ‘em you’re going to knock their block off, when they already know?! 🤣 Oval, London
A fun 48hrs in New York promoting my new and distinctly unfunny crime series on @foxnation – interviewing some of America’s worst murderers and serial killers.
Thanks to all my Fox co-workers for their usual warm welcome.
