Very sad to hear of darling Joy’s (Chambers/Grundy) death when I woke this morning. She was an exceptional woman and very dear to me as a friend and ‘Aunt Rosemary’ on Neighbours. Bless you Joy and rest in peace with your best friend/husband, Reg. X

Very sad to hear of the sudden passing of Maxine Klibingaitis… Paul’s first wife. She was so kooky and such fun to be with. A truly gentle soul who cared so much.

Exciting times… the second rebirth of Neighbours (can’t keep a good show down) has hit the world news while I’m busy working on La Cage Aux Folles in Sydney (opening November 30th) and a quick trip to New Zealand next week for a film. Who said life was dull?! Big hooray for all our lovely Neighbours fans.

So terribly sad to hear of the death of Brian Walsh. He meant so to me and a true legend in the television industry. Neighbours would not be where it is today without him. Miss you mate.

This looks like a happy, content well loved child…. Wrong! This is Sophie who, since birth has suffered unimaginable abuse and neglect. It’s extremely hard to understand what goes on behind this innocent little face and how she views the real world and her safety within it. Every year thousands of children, just like Sophie are living in abject fear of their lives and sanity. This should not keep continuing. Please help the Australian Childhood Foundation rehabilitate and bring some sort of normality into the lives of little kids like Sophie. I put my money where my mouth is and I ask you to do the same. Please donate asap to childhood.org.au. And the good bit is, if you donate before June 30th, you can get the tax deduction. Yay!
