For too long, too many corporations and rich folks have found ways to get out of paying their fair share. That needs to change.
My mom was a pistol. She always spoke her mind, never backed down, and rooted for the underdog, not the establishment. I miss her taste for honesty, for fun, and for bourbon whiskey. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, here in person or in our hearts.

We are long past the time for thoughts and prayers. The initial actions President Joe Biden announced today are good and long-needed steps towards addressing the epidemic of gun violence.
