I feel overwhelming gratitude for the women in my life who supported me throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. My mother, sisters, aunts, cousins, friends and doula. The closeness, intimacy and vulnerability I could share with these women sustained me, and continues to, through this life changing time. I will also never forget the tenderness and care I received from my healthcare providers: my midwife, obstetrician and nurses. Thank you all. Ce projet fut un rêve devenu réalité pour moi, autant professionnellement que personnellement. Premièrement, c’était mon premier personnage de longue durée dans une série québécoise (j’adore travailler en français.) En plus, je dois saluer l’ensemble de l’équipe qui est le groupe le plus gentil, généreux, talentueux et travailleur avec qui j’ai pu collaborer. Sur une note plus personnelle, c’était également un grand accomplissement pour moi, de pouvoir travailler enceinte sur la deuxième saison et en tant que nouvelle maman sur cette troisième saison. La solidarité de toute l’équipe pendant ma grossesse et mon retour au travail, avec un jeune bébé, a fait de mon aventure sur Les moments parfaits une experience positive, chaleureuse et mémorable. Comme l’équipe, la série est à la fois touchante, drôle et profondément pertinente. Je suis triste de la voir se terminer, mais je suis très heureuse de la partager avec vous. « Les moments parfaits » les mercredi soir à 20h sur TVA et en ligne sur qub.ca Our final and third season of LES MOMENTS PARFAITS resumes this week on TVA. This project has been a dream come true for me both professionally and personally. For starters, it this was my first long standing role in a French language Quebec series (I love getting to work in French!). Also, on a more personal note it was a big win to be able to work pregnant in season two and as a new mama in this third season. Everyone was so supportive, making the transition to becoming a working mom, with an infant, a truly positive experience. Serenity. Pregnancy can be a lot of things for different people, and they say no two pregnancies are alike for the same mama. As an experience it has the capacity to push you to the extremes of fear and of total surrender. Trusting my body and slowing down has felt really really good for me. It has brought about one of the calmest periods I’ve had in my life, not to mention the most blissful naps on my couch.

I had the pleasure of seeing WHITE DOG open at Cinemania and was blown away. It is a beautiful, powerful, moving and thought provoking film from director Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette. The kind that stays with you for days. Plus, it highlights so much Canadian talent. It opens in theatres tomorrow November 9th. Don’t miss it!
