From “Soul Journeys” to featured deep chats with Jeannie DuBose to unbelievable chef-prepared 3-course meals to peeling back the layers of my pain to opening my heart to love to meeting new soul partners to dancing with the Redwoods and soaking up the crisp, clean air, I’m leaving pieces of myself here at @canyonranch – the pieces that no longer serve, the heartaches and the residue of old wounds from deep traumas. This sacred land and this sacred space has offered me solace in its warm, loving embrace. I’m ready for LOVE, y’all. I had a vision of it during my “Soul Journey” (thank you, Jeanne Marie). I saw the partner who will walk with me as we choose to leave this world a little better than we found it. I felt his heart. I could sense his protective love. Intimacy was my biggest fear. I was so afraid to hope. Now, my heart is wide open to love. Come what may. Thank you to the staff, chefs, programming, speakers and teachers, practitioners, the gorgeous forest, the mighty and majestic redwood trees and all the beautiful souls my mom and I were so blessed to encounter. Boys are beautiful: brand new humans full of love. Societal programming uninterrupted turns a boy who loves into a man who loses the truth of his strength.
