Our negotiating committee has been trying to make a deal for almost a year now, but they can’t get employers to meaningfully address any of the key, existential issues that are at stake in this contract. We’re fighting for some of the exact same issues that our TV/theatrical siblings have been fighting for. And we’re at the point where we need to show that we’re willing to stand up for ourselves, our community, and our livelihoods. Vote YES for the interactive strike authorization and give our negotiating committee the power they need to demand fair wages, protection from AI, and safety for our performance capture performers. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never worked the interactive contract! Any SAG member in good standing can vote. And a strike authorization for interactive will only help bolster the TV/ theatrical strike. Let’s show these studios (some of whom are in the AMPTP) that this union stands together to defend all of its members. VOTE YES!
