Hayley Atwell Instagram – Greece… the home of my first love, theatre. So much about this country that fascinates me, but I’ve always loved their eye for aesthetics (I mean, they did invent the word, after all). Brancusi and Henry Moore were so heavily inspired by smooth lines and gently curved forms of Cycladic sculpture – to me it’s the origin of what we know as Modernist design (which is ironic, because it all started in Mykonos about four thousand years ago…!) And it’s reflected in the architecture of this enchanting island. The last few days, I was lucky enough to find an enclave of Cycladic paradise with my friends at Kivotos, @kivotosmykonos who show the true meaning of Greek hospitality, style and design. I love the privilege of being able to visit extraordinary places like this, and experience the culture. The last couple of days I’ve eaten ridiculously good, healthy Greek food, looked at stunning scenery, and been greeted with the kind of warmth that you read about in ancient epics. I love it here 🇬🇷 To my new friends at Kivotos Mykonos, and all the Greek fans; YIAMAS!!!
