Jazmin Johnson Instagram – 1st Place 🥇 Much like my last prep, LIFE HAPPENED. It wasn’t a walk in the park, nutrition and fitness is an added layer to my every day task as an entrepreneur, mother, & wife. No amount of money makes the amount of effort that it takes within the sport doable or easy. It can make certain things more convenient, but when it comes down to it …every rep you choose to take on a workout is ALL you, every defeating thought you dodge to get you closer to your goal, is ALL you. All the meals you prep and commit to eating, the early mornings and early nights (sleep is important) lol all of the decisions… they’re all you. Call me crazy, but I love working hard. Nothing beats the feeling of working towards something and achieving it. There’s no better tool to control than your mind, and as a mother, this means a lot to me. My family and friends are always so supportive, that’s why I always make sure they know how thankful I am for them. But this win was for my little guy, all the mornings I couldn’t taste his pancakes with him lol or indulge in ice cream dates with him like he wanted me to. The play dates we had to kindly decline 😩 the birthdays we had to miss out on. He quickly got the gist that I was on a mission to win, and through this journey together, we began to understand how hard you have to work for things you really want. He is an intelligent five-year-old, but a journey like this teaches him something that nothing else can.
