After renting clubs for years, I finally decided to purchase a set – but man new clubs are SO expensive. With help from @bworthy1961, I decided to look for 2nd hand sets on eBay – and found a good full set complete with driver for a VERY good price. Had the best time playing & helping host the #GeneSarazen Commemorative Tournament at @poundridgegolf 🥰 Played poorly to start (but that was just to trick my teammates into thinking I was bad so then when I made a decent shot they were so in awe 😂), made a 25-ft putt and celebrated like I won the Stanley Cup, but most importantly I had the privilege of meeting incredible people and making new friends.
