::: Holiday Consumerism ::: if we are going to partake in the season of gifting/buying, let’s challenge ourselves to purchase sustainable/ethical/handmade/second-hand gifts – support local artisans and products – support Indigenous craftsmanship as it is almost always made with those integral factors. Gifting someone something that has been made with someone’s skills and hands with fabric or material that is harvested sustainably from the Earth is so much more meaningful. Know your makers/hunters/artisans, or become one yourself. Solstice Love and Blessings. 💫 May we gently sheath the sword to join the cosmic dance of ever-changing cycles. Practicing temperance and grace as we navigate both the light and the dark. I am becoming more and more grateful for impermanence, for it keeps all in flow ~ never stagnant ~ only still for long enough to appreciate the beauty of the moment and receive it’s teachings.
