It’s @aishatyler day and it’s an important date- YES because she makes valuable things and come up with stuff that shapes culture, and YES because she’s one of the greatest finger pointers to other meaningful culture and ideas and causes and people and YES because she is Gobsmackingly hilarious and YES because she’s a human who has endeavored (and succeeded) to make her time on the blue marble full of joy and fun and good trouble and art for all. To know her is to love her and want to be her when you grow up which means you won’t grow up. Happy Birthday you magnificent peach of a person. Good gracious what great meaning you’ve given to September 18th.

Today was “character actor” day at the #sagstrike and the deal was to put who you are mostly known for in your name tag btw I speak the nerd word with love to myself and others and I look forward to the strike being over and the studios to PULL IT TOGETHER so I can nerd it up @criminalminds
Wild/Sweet/Sad/Weird night seeing @ashleyrosewellman (my goodness what great dialogue in this) play “Kill Shelter” @theatreofnote directed by the visionary @shainaro (I loved how it all looked and sounded) and then had the pleasure to watch it next to director extraordinaire @anonymousdrell here we are with @niallnotniles who produced this play with so much passion and purpose. @emnenby the puppets are fantastic and the handling of them by this cast was the swellest. Proud to be a company member here.

BITS NUMBER FOUR IN THE BOOKS. What a spectacular evening, there was music, secrets, missing teeth, cauldrons, bison, vaginas, oceans, graduation caps, queer camp, cast iron pans and Ireland. The next bits @theatreofnote will be in October I will give the date when I know it and more art WILL BE HAD. Huge appreciation for our wonderful growing audience (artists in their own right) we made money for Aloha United Way and Maui Humane Society. Onward!
