Mara Wilson Instagram – So long, beautiful Newcastle! Loved being at @comicconnortheast and meeting some of the NICEST people I’ve ever met! Special shoutouts to the fans who gave me a box of Cheerios, the woman who NAMED HER DAUGHTER Mara after me (!!!), this adorable dog dressed as Stitch, lovely afternoon tea at @malmaison on the Quay, WONDERFUL Indian food from @simlanewcastle and delicious Jamaican takeaway from Lev’s Delivery, and most of all the AMAZING women at Fenwick’s and the Clinique counter at @marksandspencer, who helped me pick out a beautiful dress and the perfect makeup for the event after BA lost my luggage! (I got it back a day before I left — all’s well that ends well!) I was so sad to leave the kind Geordies (and Scots!), the lovely Toon, and the beautiful countryside. I can only hope to be back soon!
