Nicola Coughlan Instagram – This Barbie got ready with @britishvogue 💎 This look took an army of people to put together so I just wanted to give a moment to thank them all for their time and talent. When I met the legendary Jacqueline Durran, costume designer for Barbie she asked me what I would like to wear in the movie (!) I was a big Barbie fan as a kid and had compiled pictures of ones I had, including one called Sparkle Eyes Barbie. When she saw this she asked me if I wanted my costume to match the Barbie I had as a little girl I lost my mind with excitement. I knew I wanted my dress for the premiere to be in homage to my Barbie and so my incredible stylist @aimeecroysdill worked tirelessly with brilliant @wiederhoeft_ who designed this breathtaking gown. They then collaborated with @tencel_europe & @swarovski to make the look sustainable which is no mean feat For glam the one and only @neilyoungbeauty worked with mother @patmcgrathreal to create this doll come to the real world look. My Barbie is a red head so @mrjasonhogan @joshwood worked his colour magic and my king @halleybrisker brought Hollywood to London using Barbie pink tools from @dysonhair Then my Barbie Girl @michelleclassnails gave this doll the most perfect chrome pink nail to complete the look.
