Pooja Ramachandran Instagram - It takes a lot. But it’s truly worth it! I can’t stress on how many benefits you reap by just putting in the work! I got pregnant when I wanted to at the age of 38 and delivered when I was 39 years and a month. My pregnancy went by so smoothly! I enjoyed every day of it and stayed active through the whole nine months.. a major part of it I contribute to my lifestyle. My body gave me back what I had put in. Above all, this is surely blessing from above but you got to do the deed right here. I had a C Section and waited for 8 weeks before I started slowly. Recovering my strength back was my first goal. I had to literally start from scratch, strength, endurance and flexibility. Those 8 weeks before I started I walked walked walked. At home and with Kiaan. Just because I had a C Section I did not let my body think it was weak. I said I needed to do this for me. Days were tough, nights were long but my eyes were set on the goal and I needed to do this without dieting as I’m still breast feeding my son. I want to thank my biggest support system, my husband who pushed me and never made me feel I couldn’t do it. Ever so often he would say “you can easily do it baby” and those words stuck with me. I want to thank my trainer @vinodh_here who’s been there everyday of my workout and guides me through it. Couldn’t have done it so effortlessly without him. Thank you Vinodh. I want to thank each and every person who said positive words of affirmation which remained in my mind. You know who you are! Thank you! It makes a HUGE difference!
