Shannon Elizabeth Instagram – Had the most magical birthday of my life thanks to my other half @conservationguy & our good friend & brother @safarirob at @goldenafricasafaris! After losing my little man a couple of months ago, being in the bush with no reception for days & the most exquisite animals around us is just what the doctor ordered. We started early on the 7th with a helicopter tour over the Okavango Delta. We then landed in the bush for a champagne toast & headed back to our game viewer so we could get packed up & drive into Moremi Game Reserve. We camped at Second Bridge for five incredible nights & fell asleep to lions roaring all around us. We played poker in the middle of the bush pretty much every day & ate the most unbelievable food! Then Simon suprised me with video messages from so many friends who couldn’t be with us. Thank you to all of you who sent a video message. It really did mean the world to me & is something I will keep forever & watch often. I love you all! It was a week of suprises, love, laughter, & so many animals. Golden Africa Safaris truly went out of their way to make everything absolutely perfect for me-including the birthday cake made out of elephant dung…delish!! I’ll break down moments with photos as I can. But wanted to say thank you to everyone who celebrated with us, whether near or far. And the biggest thank you to my hubby Simon-my partner in crime-my mirror image. There’s nothing we love more than adventures & animals. This trip couldn’t have more of both if we tried. May we have so many more adventures together & may every single day be a new adventure we get to experience together. Shannon Elizabeth Instagram – Had an incredible day at @tomrohavenforequineschildren with Peanut!! The work they do rescuing horses is beautiful, & the energy there is so spiritual. Whether you’re traveling to South Africa or you live here, pls consider paying them a visit & supporting the work they do in whatever ways you can. As you can imagine, they need a big piece of farmland where they can really build their dream facilities for these angels. They currently work with kids & women who get so much healing from these horses. Every life matters-save one save all! Thank you to Gillian & Stephanie for sharing your magic with me!!
