Sid Sriram Instagram – This is from 2016 in chennai. I’d finished my daily morning vocal exercises and something compelled me to start singing these lyrics in this style. In many ways this morning spent solo jamming on this idea was the seed for my approach to writing melodies that shapeshift between different cultural currents. A lot has evolved, grown since then (i.e hairstyle lol, perspective, etc) but the spirit with which I approach/explore music has remained honest.
