I did thanksgiving alone this year. I was lonely so I spent an inordinate amount of time photoshopping my ideal TV family for thanksgiving. We did a play. “This Is Our Youth” by Kenneth Lonergan. We shot it as 2 hour 4 minute continuous take. No edits or special effects, just like a piece of live theatre. Our short film 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐧 is set to premiere at several festivals all on the same weekend. I’m really proud of this short and all the people who worked on it. @this.bendavis @gregoryisbored @littledrownedrat @antrimstories all really poured their heart into this and we came up with quite a surprising quirky little tragicomedy. . It’s screening at @austinfilmfest in Austin, TX @filmquest I’m Provo, UT and @flickers.riiff in Rhoad Island all on the weekend of Oct 28-30!
