Vasudaa and Harsan’s wedding reception was a jolly affair, each passing minute marked by exuberance, colours, and laughter. As the busy day approached an end, we decided to make a few heartfelt portraits of the couple, away from the buzz of the celebrations.
Slightly mellowed down by the chain of festivities, the newlyweds got the chance to catch a quiet breath in each other’s company only when I began taking their candid photographs. That’s when Vasudaa leaned in & rested her head on Harsan’s shoulder, as if stepping into a warm bubble of contentment. Watching this precious moment unfurl, I instantly brought in a light and made this beautiful portrait, as a warm smile lingered on our faces. In her eyes, I could see comfort and this rare feeling called “forever”, and I’m glad I was able to freeze it into permanence.

It was a lovely winter morning in Hyderabad, painted warm and delightful by tender sunshine and sprightly breezes. I was at the enchanting, century-old Taj Falaknuma Palace, the splendour of its rustic walls and royal decors delighting me with every step I took. It was just a day after Akhila and Pranay’s blithely wedding ceremony, and they wanted to commemorate their journey of forever by clicking some memorable portraits together.
So, we strolled the royal palace grounds, taking in the pleasing milieus and recounting occurrences from their big day. The newlyweds spent tender, graceful moments dipped in love, wrapped in the comfort of each other’s company. They simply wanted to hang out without any effort or the worries of the what, how, and when. And they wanted me to be there to capture these graceful moments– a few mellow hours of interlude before they indulged in an eventful wedding reception. So, inspired by the leisurely vibe that was upon us, I framed the portraits to reflect the happy hearts and delightful chats that marked those moments.
The pictures thus resemble the spirit of a joyful winter morning, spent picnicking and relishing the simple pleasures of life. And for the artist in me, it was indeed gratifying and quite pure to chronicle all the love, warmth, and effortlessness that floated in the air that morning.

Dusk had surpassed the skies of Rajkot, Gujarat and glimmering stars had started to take over the night sky. Nidhi and Shirish had just exchanged the promise of forever, and the laughter of their loved ones still filled the air to the brim. It was during one of those moments that I found a pocket of time to capture the bride and groom alone.
@nidhi11_1991 and @shirish_p07 had anticipated their wedding ceremony for two long years, and it had finally arrived. So, I wanted to give them a picture where they were both in their element, as a sweet keepsake from their big day.
While I was framing this photograph, I pondered at how this image would be a memento of the love they share. I smiled softly at this thought as I pressed the shutter button on my camera. At the end of the day, there’s nothing that makes a photographer happier than freezing someone’s most precious memories in time.
