In 1978, Suzanne Somers starred in the first movie that I ever produced, Zuma Beach. Suzanne was the most charming, generous talent to be known. Besides being a mega star in the 70s, Suzanne was one of the most creatively generous and down to earth human beings you could work with. She lit up every room she walked in, and I loved every minute of our 21-day shoot together. Suzanne, you will be deeply, deeply missed by so many ❤️
I’ve always been fascinated by subcultures, digging into worlds I wasn’t a part of. Trusting my instincts has guided my journey, giving me the courage to believe in a story I wrote about falling in love with a mermaid (“Splash”🧜♀️) that everyone said was stupid, that led to so many projects that have left an undeniable mark on my heart.
As any entrepreneur knows, partnerships are immensely important. No one scales alone. Today I had an enthralling Curiosity Conversation with the great Dr. Kim Budil, Lab Director for the @livermore_lab Her team of over 8,000 scientists, engineers, and researchers just pulled off one of the greatest scientific feats of the 21st century… they fired almost 200 lasers (the size of three football fields!!) into a diamond to create nuclear energy, in a process called fusion ignition💥!! I am constantly in awe at the ever-evolving capabilities of modern science, and I cannot wait to see what Dr. Budil’s team does next.
I just had a Curiosity Conversation with the NBA’s all-star trainer, @timgrover 🏀 Not only did he whip Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant into shape — his mentality toward life and hard work whipped me into shape! Some people seek external sources for motivation, while others are just naturally elevated. Tim is elevated beyond compare 💪🏼🏆
