This sweet puppy was spotted by a Good Samaritan cowering on the side of a country road in South Carolina, abandoned and in pain. Just 4 months old, WRINKLES is now in the care of Danny & Ron’s Rescue and is being treated for demodex mange, parasites, malnutrition, and heaven knows what else our vet will diagnose. We can only guess, so we will wait for the final vet report and keep you updated.
Once this sweet boy is healthy he will be up for adoption, but this will require months of TLC and vet care. Could you find it in your heart to donate toward his vet care? No donation amount is too small and every dollar counts toward helping Wrinkles and other dogs like him!

(Camden, SC) Hi there, I’m STARSKY, a charming Chihuahua Mix with a story to tell. My buddy Hutch and I were in a tough spot when our owner passed away. But thanks to the caring hearts at Danny & Ron’s Rescue, we got a second chance at a happy life. Upon first meeting, I might be a bit shy, but don’t let that fool you—I have a heart full of love to give.
Dog toys don’t really capture my interest, but I adore snuggling up with my favorite human companion. Did I mention I’m a bit of a foodie? Show me some treats, and you’ll quickly become my best friend. I’m fortunate to be with a foster mom teaching me the ropes, including using the dog door. I’ve been making great progress but still have room for improvement. With patience and guidance, I know I’ll master it in no time.
I long for a forever home where I can shower my new human family with love, snuggles, and endless loyalty. I’m your guy if you’re looking for a gentle companion eager to learn and grow alongside you. Let’s create a bond that will last a lifetime.

(Camden, SC) Hi! My name is SUGAR! I was originally adopted in June 2022 as a puppy from Danny & Ron’s Rescue but, because I didn’t get along with another puppy in my new house, I was surrendered back to the rescue 9 months later.
I am a sweet girl when it comes to my human friends, but I am not a fan of other dogs. I would enjoy getting all the cuddles, walks, and treats I could ever want from being the only dog in the house. I am looking for an adopter who wants me to be their whole world and is willing to be patient while socializing me!
