So, at the age of 11, I signed up for a finishing-school type class, which taught tweens and teens how to preen and prettify our faces. For my eyebrows specifically, the teacher used me as the example model – showing the girls the best tweezers, where to pluck and how much to remove. This gave me fashionably thin brows, very femme.
