Happy July 4th. I’m here to remind everyone that Bipolar stinks and quite often gives you a large amount of regret and shame
Paul was a gentle, kind, and a brilliant comedic genius. Yes, I said brilliant and genius in the same sentence. My sons grew up his TV show and Pee Wee’s big adventure when they were young kids. To be able to share laughs with my kids is the work of someone very special. When I was in college, he was a guest on Late Night with Letterman. I called my dad to watch it with me. He saw Pee Wee and thought I was crazy to make him watch this. Very skeptical. Within a minute, he was crying with laughter. I’m crying as I write this. My success allows me to become friends with my heroes. He did not disappoint. Everyone loved Pee Wee. I’m heartbroken but he left behind a most wonderful legacy
My life. @albertsbucketlist
Another mental health announcement. Not too long ago before I was properly medicated I was suicidal. I went away for a month to the Lindner Center of HOPE in Cincinnati. Yes, I went to Cincinnati in the middle of winter to get help. They saved my life. It was dire. Since then I’ve gone from therapy seven times a week to three. I never thought I would be ecstatic with therapy three times a week. I am in recovery. All of this has paid off. I’ve put in the work. Meds alone aren’t the answer. DBT, therapy, recovery, and meds are helping me stand tall. I never thought that I’d smile again. Now I’m smiling and doing comedy again. I’m so grateful that @curbyourenthusiasm starts filming in a couple of weeks. There is hope. Just ask. Please ask. Save your life. #everylittlethingisgonnabealright #artblakey

Go see Babylon. I might be in it. Yes, might be. I had a ball working on it. Yet, maybe I stink. Maybe I was cut. Maybe I’m a star. It’s all a mystery to me.
This is how I feel during any conversation that I have. Ah, the magic of social anxiety. #adamsfamily #socialanxiety #doIdealwithalotofshitorwhat? #keepmoving
The Monster of the Midway. He meant so much to my father. He meant so much to me. I was filming a commercial with Mr. Butkus. He took the time to call my father who was dying. My dad was … There is no adjective to describe how my dad felt. I could fill this post with stories of what he meant to me. One more thing, he signed his autograph “with friendship Dick Butkus.” ‘nuff said @thedickbutkus @chicagobears
I went to @leicagalleryboston for the opening of my photo show. I’m back in LA now. I have COVID. Be careful, it’s a big bowl of fuckity. Yes in a passive way I’m promoting my photo show in Boston. C’mon, I’ve got COVID. Give a guy a break
That’s not a quote from me, however what the @laughfactoryhw does every year is wonderful
