John Gallagher Jr. Instagram – Sometimes you really do have to stop and smell the roses. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that I’ve been playing @joespub for 16 years but math has never been my strong suit. Looking out at the faces of old friends, new friends and my family was overwhelming in the best way imaginable. Thank you New York City for showing up to my show on Lafayette Street Wednesday night and making it a sold out one at that. I always have such a good time at this venue and the staff always takes such tender care of me. This was only the second show for my newly minted band that I am so incredibly fortunate to play with. It was an unbridled joy to share some of the songs off of my upcoming record with that beautiful crowd of friends and family. I truly can’t wait to do more of it in 2024.
