One of the most difficult things I’ve ever done.
(Re)discovering the peaks where I grew up took me eight days, 177 peaks and more than 40.000 meters of elevation gain.
From Frondiella to Pica d’Estats, I’ve enjoyed every step and collected memories for a lifetime.

Well, it seems I’ll be on the bike for some days.
Some days before Eiger Ultra trail I started to feel pain in my right hip. I thought it was a muscle problem or tendinitis that would go away with some easy days but after a check we found out it’s a bone edema.
Probably I was back to fast to do very big running weeks after the Himalaya expedition, where we come always a bit more weak, specially this year with the virus and the avalanche, and I didn’t work on strength to take care of my weak left leg.I was feeling good linking big running weeks and feeling great on my training but well, it’s also part of pushing the limits… It feels it’s a bad timing to get this injury so close to the races but managing injuries and recovery is part of an athlete’s life.
I’ll focus on the recovery now and see when I can run again!

A beautiful day in Grindelwald running in front of some of the most amazing mountains in the Alps. Kudos to my friend @wernermarti and all the team behind the @eigerultratrail for organizing such a great race!
Congrats to @tinaemelie winning the 51km race 🔥! And what a trail running day, with Hardrock 100, Dolomyths, the European skyrunning championship also today… I spend the pre and post race switching streaming’s 🤪 so exciting to follow many friends running on those events.
I took my race easy. Two days ago, after some great weeks of training, I felt a strong pain in my right glute, so today I didn’t want to take any risk. I ran enjoying the landscapes and chatting with the fellow runners.

10 years ago, with @tinaemelie we wanted to share the beauty of the “trails” around Tromsø. With the help of the @tromsolopeklubb we started organizing the @tromso.skyrace . After the years @denbaktungeamerikaneren took the lead organizing and growing it. Today the race was held for the last time.🏔️
Thanks to all the volunteers and people who has been involved during those 10 years. Thanks to all the runners who have been enjoying or suffering those trails! 🙏
And if you want, you can always go any day to run on the magnificent summits of Tromsdalstinden and Hamperokken 😜

You made it, thanks! So, I have something to tell you…
Well, when folks in Romsdal do partying on Saturday midnight it looks like that…
Fun to see @tomerikheimen and his mates flying by while we scramble up with @colinthornton1 and @jonalbon

Last time I was in Grindelwald it was to follow Ueli Steck up the north face of Eiger. It was a great day for me, running, climbing and learning from one of the best alpinists. A few days after Ueli went back alone to climb the face in 2h22’, what remains today as one of the most incredible speed climbs of all time. I was lucky to get to know Ueli and to spend some time on the mountains with him, learning and getting inspired from his fluidity and mastery in the art of mountaineering.
Tomorrow I’ll be running under the shadow of this same summit, with the foot on the trails but probably the head up in the walls.
It’s been 10 years since my first time I was in Nepal, and during this short period I’ve witnessed how the mountains have changed, how glaciers decreased and natural hazards increased. How weather is less predictable and extreme weather is more common. During my conversation with @_icimod scientists Amina Maharjan and Jakob Steiner I learned how the Himalayan mountains are changing in their biodiversity, hydrology, and how this is affecting on the lives of the people living there, to the tourism and more.

📣 Introducing: Kilian Jornet
Our new partner in the fight against climate change.
Kilian is a true icon in the world of sports, winning the most prestigious trail running race Ultra Trail Mont Blanc 4 times.
He embodies the essence of high-performance and pushing boundaries. His years of training, unwavering dedication and resilience have gotten Kilian to where he is today. Like him, we relentlessly pursue the scale-up of our technology to draw down a gigaton of CO2 until 2050.
On top of his extraordinary achievements in the world of sports, he sets new standards in combatting climate change in his personal and professional life:
✅Reduce first: Kilian moved to Norway to be able to complete his altitude trainings without having to travel internationally. By doing so, he more than halved his personal footprint from 20 tons to 7.8 tonnes.
✅Remove the rest: for his unavoidable emissions (energy consumption, food, etc) Kilian chose to partner up with us. We capture the remaining 7.8 tonnes from the air and permanently store them underground.
Through this partnership, we aim to inspire positive change, raise awareness about climate action, and encourage others to join the movement.
Join us as we combine our strengths and embark on a mission to combat climate change.
