Macklemore Instagram – There’s something about performing in Salt Lake City. It conjures up vivid memories of my formative years, touring in a rented white 12 passenger van with Ryan, Owuor and Tricia. I remember playing Kilby Court, an all ages 200 cap venue before The Heist came out. There were kids lined up in the snow the night before. It was one of those moments where I thought to myself “Something is happening.” Every time I perform I attempt to tap into that version of me. Never get comfortable. Never dial it in. Be present. Thursday night in SLC was no different. Packed from the front to back, sweaty, real fans experiencing this tour the way it was intended. The gratitude for life was abundant. We had a night Salt Lake City. Love you guys ❤️
