Ma’Ma Queen Instagram – Dragqueens love coins! Helemaal deze bijzondere munt. Dit is namelijk de herdenkingsmunt dat het @cocnld 50 jaar geleden erkenning kreeg. Daarom heeft @royaldutchmint deze speciale limited edition munt geslagen. Het coc is een belangenorganisatie die zich al ruim 60 jaar inzet voor acceptatie en emancipatie van de lgbtqia+ communitie. Waarvan dus 50 jaar als door het koningshuis erkend. Mijn eerste queer avond in Doetinchem, waar ik ben geboren en opgegroeid, was een COC avond in een buurthuis. Hoe meer ik mn queer identiteit heb ontdekt des te vaker ik deze organisatie tegen kwam. We hopen natuurlijk dat deze organisatie op een gegeven moment niet meer nodig is omdat we allemaal veilig ons zelf kunnen zijn. Maar het tegenover gestelde is helaas waar. Daarom zijn organisaties zoals het COC ontzettend belangrijk. Ik dacht voor deze gelegenheid ga ik lekker de straat op, om te laten zien dat ik me niet uit het veld laat slaan en mn plek in de maatschappij claim, zichtbaar ben en mezelf ben waar ik ook kom! @cocnld bedankt voor jullie kracht, doorzettingsvermogen en inspiratie.
