Robbie Williams Instagram – So I forgot ‘’Yes-McAlmont and Butler’’ yesterday, What a tune. I used to sing along to it by myself and think about Take That and the management. This would be 1996. All very dramatic of course. The irony of it was that, at the time, I was the furthest away I could possibly have been from ‘’Yes I do feel better, yes I do I feel all right’ I guess I was fooling myself but at least I knew what I wanted. What I also wanted was to write with Bernard Butler but he turned down my advances. By letting it be known exactly how shit he thought I was. In print, he said, amongst other things ‘’What do I want a million pounds in the bank or an interesting life?’’Im sure that worked out for him.He wouldn’t make art with me but I’ve made some for him. See left. Actually that InklINg isn’t for him.It’s for all of us who have had those sorts of things happen at them. Question. You are born in a different country. What country would you choose?
