Well I could have bought a few more things if the conversion rate was a little more subtle. A colonial hangover is never too bad. London you were bittersweet.

I don’t know why for the past few days I have been obsessed with the songs of Pyaasa, especially the one where you can literally pierce through Guru Dutt’s eyes in “Jaane woh kaise log the..”, and just knew how when what to communicate with it. Effortless to say the least.
Once a friend who also happened to be my girlfriend at the time, told me while we were in the process of our separation from the time I spent with her that, I think you don’t love me, you love the idea of me. I wondered at the time what she meant. I am still wondering. But to tell you the truth we all figure out what love is in myriad of different ways. It is always the little things that matter in the end. The grand gestures are often the ones that might be a little too overrated. As a great man once said “The eyes Chico, they never lie..”
Windows play a pivotal role, I was and circumstantially still am going through a phase of keeping my windows closed , but the moment you open and see through it, there is just that tad bit of realisation that you perhaps were missing, just that tad bit of air that makes you feel okay, just that tad bit of love that embraces you, just that tad bit of birds that chirp into nothingness, just that tad bit of blue and white, just that tad bit of mosquitoes too.
I often wondered how come we associate the term dump while it signifies a few moments that were captured. Now I realise that it is usually said due to the lack of finding a better caption to encapsulate it all.

It has been about 20 days, since we left the place which gave me so much to think about. We often meet a few strangers along the way, by being these modern day gypsies, where we set up our tents collect a few stories and then again we are on our way for a new one. The in-between moments are just an exercise to be able to live those stories.

“ It is a bright sunny day, just get the hell away” said the rain to its audience.
We break into a thought every second. It flashes through. Somehow we tend to catch it, sometimes we chase it, and then it travels fast enough to be within our reach but never close enough to be caught. Such a Sunday much food for thought.

Kaahe ka mirror kaahe ka wall, humpty dumpty had a great fall.
Somedays you feel like not taking that bus, you know that bus is good for you, but you seek solace in boredom. The art of doing a little nothing is also something at times.
Repeated alarms. You miss the bus. Terrible feeling. Shit what do you do. There comes the rain again. Puddle of mud splattered to your being. Day gets ruined. Silver Lining anyone? Coffee at a cafe, a smile at a distance. A conversation that follows. To remember you by. Suddenly the alarm buzzes again. You wake up. You were dreaming, a distant dream or a dream to keep.
