Just a few months ago we got married in Manali and the roads were absolutely breathtaking. I was shocked to see the state of the roads and Manali this time. It took us forever to reach here as one side of the road has completely been damaged due to landslide and the traffic has to wait for one side to move and then the other side moves. Manali is usually full of tourists but it feels so dead now. A lot of restaurants and hotels are closed as there is no business. It’s heartbreaking to see this.

Found some old footage of how we used to travel to Leh in 2001. There were barely any Air India flights and we mostly travelled in Air Force IL-76 planes. The middle area used to have heavy machinery/ other luggage and we used to sit on the sides. It was a pretty insane experience.
Leh airport is one of the most difficult airports to land at. The pilots require extra training for the same. Did you know that it’s one of the highest airports in the world? ❤️
