1. Sleep Quality: 

7 or 8 hours of sleep may not account for anything if the quality of the sleep is poor, we go through an average of 4-6 sleep cycles per night  involving periods of deep sleep in each, these are how many we need for the body to fully recover. 
If we aren’t able to reach deep sleep stages we will not wake up feeling rested no matter how many hours later. 

2. You’re over-sleeping: 

Yes there is such a thing, at every stage of our lives we need a different amount of sleep. Babies need the most, and as we grow older and lead more sedentary lives, we may need less sleep. 
Aside from waking up feeling sluggish and drowsy, oversleeping has many negative effects on the body! 

3. You have a sleep disorder: 

Don’t be alarmed, this is very common. Stress and bad habits can create certain sleep disorders that can make an 8 hour sleep equal to nothing, if you have noticed very uncomfortable sleep- it’s worth talking to a doctor about it. Remember it can be resolved 🤗😇

Aditi Chengappa Instagram – I’ve been in one of these in the past and wish i had noticed these signs sooner, so grateful to be in a respectful and balanced relationship now 🙏

Here are the signs: 

Your opinion is never valued, or you’re afraid to even voice it. 

You know deep inside that you’ve had to change many things about you to “make” this person stay in a relationship with you. 

You’re always the problem, even if your partner’s behaviour is terrible- they tell you it’s your fault and you made them that way. 

These are a few clear signs of an imbalanced and toxic relationship. We are often so deeply woven into one that we can’t see it till we finally break free. I hope these signs can help you evaluate yours 🙏
