Amy Davidson Instagram – When the @johnritterfoundation asked me to help spread awareness that this is Aortic Dissection Awareness Week, my answer was yes and yes. John played my (our) dad on TV— but he was so much more than that to me, and to the world… It’s such an honor when someone shares a “John” story with me. He touched people that he never even met, and he truly was everything you’d imagine him to be and MORE. It’s hard to put into words just how extraordinary he was. Quite honestly he was (is) the funniest person I know, he had the most generous heart, and truly, TRULY cared about others… During this week of Aortic Dissection Awareness, the @johnritterfoundation wants to help others learn the warning signs and risk factors of aortic disease. They have spent twenty years of honoring John’s legacy with genetic research, widespread education, and radical advocacy. It’s still hard to digest that because of John’s death we are more knowledgeable about aortic health, but knowing John, he wouldn’t have it any other way… The John Ritter foundation is trying to raise $20K for 20 years of impact for @johnritterfoundation. 💜💜💜💜 If you feel inclined, I have put the link in my bio so you can Donate!
