It is that popular . nagashi somen noodles (bamboo stick noodles in japan) this is kibune area . It will take 1-2 hours to reach from kyoto , then you will need to take a bus and walk for almost a km. But but for your comfort, you can totally opt for day trips from online apps. Where group of people were coming directly in the area in a nice mini van kinda vehicle. You don’t just have this place. There are multiple restaurants in the same lane with no lines. With much more dishes to try with nice waterfall view. You can check 2-3 and decide as per your preferences. But that area was really nice. Though don’t forget to take bug spray. I went two times since first day i couldn’t find a seating to shoot. Food is yumm, staff is nice and understanding. Ye dish to bahut jyada thi mere lie🙈 bahut time lgake khaya. It has soft red bean filling but little egg taste with the pancake. In some stores, it was even better than the other. hehe aur ye choco chips pe mile the ek store pe ye to shinchan vale se bhi better hai🫣 and btw takaoka toyoma is 3-4 hours away each from tokyo or osaka .
