I’m so grateful and honored to be a part of @blakeshelton ‘s very last show on @nbcthevoice ❤️ I can’t believe it’s been twelve years since I hit that stage. I was just 22 years old and scared shitless the entire time. Blake always made me feel safe and capable and hopeful. 12 years. Wow. Time really does fly. So many memories came back to me when I walked on stage. Even the smell of the sound stage was so familiar. Like artificial rain and cold cement and fog machines. I weirdly love that smell. I feel like it’ll be futile to try to express how much Blake means to me and how drastically he has changed my life… I honestly don’t know where to start. I love Blake. His kindness, generosity, humor, empathy and talent have touched many people across the world. I’m so grateful to have shared the stage with him and to have spent time with him on the road.
