Dia Frampton Instagram – So grateful to be on this planet for 36 years. Thank you kindly for all the birthday wishes. I think my favorite thing about my birthday is catching up with friends. I feel so fortunate to have so many incredible people in my life. I got into a pretty emotional conversation today with someone I’ve known for years… one of my nearest and dearest. And in between tears they said, “I’m sorry to cry on your birthday. I’m sorry to make you cry.” But I told them that I was happy to share in this moment with them. Moments where we laugh and cry about the messiness of life. Where I feel closer to them. So… with one year wiser… what’s coming up for me now is patience. For me… I hope to not act impulsively because I am impatient for my future. Also, the difference between solitude and loneliness, which has helped me not feel strange about my desire to spend many days alone. And lastly, thank you Tolkien for the LOTR and Hobbit books. You were a bad ass. This evening, I solute you. As Gandalf said, “Despair is only for those who see the end beyond all doubt. We do not.” Rock on, Gandalf. Rock on. ❤️😌
Dia Frampton Instagram – My Korean mamma often says to me. “Don’t be so picky. One person won’t have it all.” While there is wisdom in her words, I disagree. I think of my incredible friends. My mentors. My siblings. While they all have their flaws, imperfections and areas where they work to grow – as we all do – they show up consistently and generously in my life. So while I recognize that nobody “has it all,” there is proof that I see and experience every day with the people that I choose to surround myself with… that you can get pretty damn close.
