“Semicolon” indicates a pause and since 2013, the semicolon has become a universal symbol for suicide and mental health awareness.
On 10th September, World Suicide Prevention Day we got the opportunity to be a part of a special event. @khan.ira and her @agatsufoundation arranged for a group of twelve community centre members to come in for a semicolon tattoo. This was done in consideration of bringing more awareness around suicide and suicide prevention.
We salute the Agatsu Foundation for their constant work towards bettering mental health and well-being. 🫡
