I am so glad you were born on this day. Without you I would not have experienced the greatest joy of my life… the love of our family. On this Divine assignment we’ve chosen to walk together, I am grateful for the wells of laughter along the trails of tears we’ve shared. Thank you for helping me learn to embrace it all … with a smile. Here’s to 100+ more birthdays full of growth, acceptance and joy♥️🪽
My family has been on this Worthy journey with me in the making of this book and in the making of my life. Peeling back the curtain and writing about what we have survived together-wasn’t easy. But the beautiful part is it reveals how we gained our resilience and strength from our intense love for one another-to get through it all.

So many of us women do not share the full scope of our journeys because of the fear of being criticized and judged. I’ve been through the gauntlet of judgement and criticism, which has given me the courage and strength to share the journey that sits behind the curtain that we all travel in trying to figure out what this thing called life is all about. My hope with my book Worthy is that for any of you who may be stuck, hopeless or confused that my journey can offer you some oxygen, some strength to deepen your willingness to keep stepping towards your greatness.
Life is complicated but beautiful and if you are willing to take this ride with me … I think you’ll be surprised of all the love and treasures that await on the other side.

CHAPTER- Advanced Degree
Not in a million years would I have dreamed that the Fresh Prince and I would become, um, very acquainted.
Not in a million years did I imagine three lives, their fates, would be so intertwined.
And… I never would have imagined that this video would become a tangible memory, of the last time Pac and I, were simply kids together.

Finding our way out of self betrayal is a hell of a thing … literally.
As hard as it was … this is why I explore the messiest aspects of my life in my memoir Worthy (some of which you are aware of but many that you are not). I’ve learned that it is in the mess of our lives where much self betrayal lingers. But … this is also where our elixirs and triumphs over self betrayal linger as well — with all the little bread crumbs that guided us there.
