Kirsten Vangsness Instagram – Some actions I am taking you can copy(none of this is an ad I don’t know any of these folks I am just very happy they are creating things to help us engage) I saw this book by @deepaviyer from an @chaninicholas post and it is JUST SO VERY GREAT and you can find how to get it on her instagram as well as hearing all about the book. It has journal prompts and all kinds of exercises to help you step out exactly where your (to use an @hendricks.gay @katiethendricks phrase) “Zone of Genius” is when it comes to engaging in social change. And please enjoy my seasonal table decor with it. Also! Do you know the @5calls app? It’s the easiest way to call your congress person ESPECIALLY if you are weirdly shy like me and freak out when talking- I love it has a script I can refer to and that it does all the work of letting me know who my reps are- never forget THEY WORK FOR YOU. And additionally I am very happy my Senator is @senlaphonza **I want to explicitly say: what happened on Oct. 7 to the Jewish people is heartbreakingly abhorrent and what is happening to the Palestinians is unfair and terrible. Anti Semitism is disgusting and Anti Muslim talk is gross. WE DONT MAKE GOOD CHOICES WHEN REACTIVE. I wish for the binary good/bad to be let go of and get to the fixing, get to the work of empowerment and stop the abhorrent violent behavior. If you need to twist my words up to make me look like I am your enemy☮️
