My DJ journey started back in 2016. Collecting tips from close DJ friends of mine and putting together stuff I found on YouTube. Bought my first controller off Craigslist in 2017. Played a few parties, and then never touched my equipment again. UNTIL, a little voice in my head told me to get back to the hobbies that sparked joy. With a lot of encouragement from @itsmomcrae , I secretly enrolled myself into @scratchdjacademy to gain true knowledge of the art-form. Feeling the affects of the #Strike these days. I miss creating. I miss exploring. I miss the community. These photos where taken by @shamieranderson on 35mm film 5 years ago (I think). He sent it and it almost made me cry because I miss performing so sooo much. Creators—hold on to your spark, hold on to your fire, this too shall and WILL pass. We’ll be on stage again soon. 🫶🏽💪🏽
