which is Love.
And maybe the wound will always be with you.
Maybe you will always walk with the hurt.
But now, you hold it. It doesn’t hold you.
You are the container, not the contained.
It doesn’t control you any longer, the wound.
Because it is drenched in awareness now.
Drenched in You.
Loved by you.
Even celebrated by you.
You do not heal ‘from’ trauma.
You find healing ‘in’ the trauma.
You find yourself at trauma’s sacred core.
The One who is always present.
The One who can bear
even the most intense feeling states.
And survive.
The Indestructible One.
The Infinite One.
The Powerful One.

‘In Search of the Devi,’ curated by Srimoyi Bhattacharya (@sripeepul) leads up to the Indian Festival, Durga Puja.
Celebrating the unique artistic expressions of Bengal during this period, this exhibition houses artworks ranging from traditional art forms like Patachitra and Phad to contemporary visual reinterpretations of Durga or Shakti.
Traditional art forms that incorporate new techniques and themes of social significance sit alongside refreshing interpretations by contemporary artists each encapsulating the essence of feminine strength and vitality.
Featuring the artists, Anwar Chitrakar, Dileep Sharma, Jamnalal Kumhar, Kalyan Joshi, Nayan Chitrakar, Sanjay Chitara, Sudipta Das, Tagar Chitrakar, and Yogesh Ramkrishna.
The exhibition is produced in association with Founder of @latitude_28, Bhavna Kakar (@bhavz15), and Founder and Curator of @baromarket, Srila Chatterjee (@srilachatterjee)
