So lovely to spend time yesterday talking about Costume Design to the Royal School of Needlework students. It was such a treat to visit them in their beautiful home within Hampton Court Palace…Thank you for having me and making me feel so welcome..

Another storm, another deluge and a day of digging and moping to try and save our house… the rain today is insane again.. and it wasn’t really forecast..With more slips and flooding everywhere locally more misery. For so many. We are all exhausted and scared and sad.. Thank goodness tonight for an amazing neighbour that pitched in and helped Russell dig and then insisted we stay in another dear neighbours beautiful yurt..it’s the only thing that keeps us going at the moment..

Goodbye and good riddance 22. What a ridiculous year all round, on every single level. 23 you just have to try to be better!.. please…

I’m so unbelievably sad to read that we have lost Deborah Saban. She was just amazing.. Such a great AD, but so much more, a beautiful person. We both worked on The Secret Garden, one of the most fun jobs ever. We all cherished the time spent filming in some of the most beautiful gardens and areas in the UK. When she joined us on Mama Mia Here we go Again we said “listen the birds are now singing” and that was because of her and her warmth and humanity..and how she understood and cared for her crews and the creativity of film.
