Monami Ghosh Instagram – I remember giving an interview wherein I said it’s a dream to one day sing for @monami_ghosh di. Cut to 24th August 2023 when I received a call from Mallar Da from the composer duo of the song – @makmallarmusic, asking me if I’d sing this song. I agreed to sing it because I loved the composition, still having no idea who I was singing it for. On the day of the recording I remember being completely flustered when Mallar da got Monami di on call and she said ,” We looked through many singers and finally decided on you. We have faith that you’ll do well “ !! Cut to today when our song has been playing in every Pujo Pandal in and around West Bengal and Assam. I’ve gotten request for ‘Ailo Uma’ in every single show that I’ve done here in the US thus far !! And WE HAVE CROSSED 1.2 LAKH REELS ON IT WHATTTT !!!
