Naturi Naughton Instagram – Ok real talk, Breastfeeding is HARD WORK OKAYYY! This shit will have you in your best & worst feelings 🤯 Not sure why, but this time around with Baby Tru, it has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done! Chile, one minute I’m crying and feeling so inadequate because the latch ain’t latching or there isn’t enough liquid gold! And the next minute I’m praise dancing, flying around the house like a superhero holding up 5oz of milk in my @medela_us bottle after pumping! Sidebar the @elvie has saved my life, pumping and moving around freely is a game changer! I kid you not, I’ve never worked so hard in my life! And y’all know I worked hard on POWER/GHOST for 10 years and did 18 hour shoot days and 5am call times… and yet, THIS is the full time job that never ends with theee longest hours and the most unpredictable changes to the script! #TeamTasha is cool but I’m screaming #TeamNaturi today! Thanks be to God, cuz today I feel triumphant! I feel calm and at peace… there will be good days and bad days and that’s okay Naturi! I am ENOUGH! Thanks to my ridiculously patient and loving Husband @twolewis_ , my amazing parents, (Mommy for making the best oatmeal & Daddy for making delicious homemade soup), My Zuri, the best big sister&Mommy’s helper, my continuously supportive doula long after I gave birth @janee_saniaya , my kind and encouraging night nurse @mrs.kiki_babywhisper ,my beautiful friends & family who came over just to bring me joy or feed me or get me out the house to lift my spirits or give advice on how to keep my milk supply up, or called me and asked “how are YOU doing?”, not just how’s the baby! Oh & thx @potterybarnkids for the most beautiful nursery! I feel so grateful! So just a reminder y’all, even when there’s darkness or things look bleak… there is LIGHT at the end of the tunnel and that light starts in YOU!
