It seems so surreal that you’re gone and that I’m even writing this right now. You were like a second mom to me. I was just with you today, holding your hand, rubbing your feet, and laughing with you in the hospital. And hours later, you slipped away from us at home 😪
My biggest fan, my small feet companion, my makeup comrade, my hair and beauty inspiration growing up, and one of the amazing singing voices of her time… You were right there when I was born and I was fortunate to be with you before and right after you slipped away 🙏🏽
My heart hurts knowing that you aren’t with us but I know the love you had for me and that will stay with me the rest of my life. 80 years just wasn’t enough but who am I to question God’s timing. I truly believe you were called home in the most beautiful way, with God calling out to you. We will be here with Uncle to support him every step of the way. ‘Til we meet again… I love you but more importantly, thanks for loving me 🕊️
