I’ve grown up in Mumbai and when I was in college ( Xaviers ) I went to the Taj just to use the bathroom, couldn’t afford anything else! Everyday, I walked in, used the bathroom went to the bookstore Nalanda Bookshop and stood there and flipped through all the magazines. That’s how I spent my afternoons after college by myself. The first nightclub I went to was Insomnia at the Taj. I drank my first drink 🍹 at the Taj. My first kiss was at the Taj outside the pool at night after Insomnia. I’ve always been fascinated by hotels, especially this one. This one has so much history for me! Sea lounge, Golden Dragon, Wasabi’s- if you’re from Bombay ( not Mumbai ) and my generation; you know what I’m talking about :) And so, I decided it was time I treated myself to a staycation in the Palace Wing Taj Colaba ❤️ !!! #tajcolaba #tajmumbai #hotelmumbai
