Several years ago, I had the privilege of meeting him and introducing him to my son, Eli, at an event celebrating the anniversary of the moon landing. His legacy continues to inspire generations of Americans to dream big and reach for the stars.

It is essential that election workers be able to do their jobs without fear of being smeared or injured. The lies told by Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani about the 2020 election put the lives of election workers at risk. As long as Trump and his enablers persist in these falsehoods, so must we persist in exposing the truth.

Kevin McCarthy’s inability to govern meant we were lurching from one crisis to the next, instead of making progress on urgent issues like homelessness and inflation. For the sake of the country, the GOP needs to get its act together and if it can’t provide leadership, at least give us stability.

Today, @speakermccarthy once again attacked the justice system and undermined confidence in the rule of law to shill for the corrupt former president. It is shameful, and destructive of our democracy and its institutions. And for McCarthy, it means little more than — it must be Tuesday.

Despite the 2020 election being the most secure in our history, Republicans are trying to undermine our election security agency @cisagov, and pressuring tech companies like @youtube and @twitter to roll back progress. The disinformation campaign is succeeding, and it threatens our democracy.

During our work on the January 6th committee, we found evidence that Donald Trump engaged in a conspiracy to defraud voters, and was complicit in the violent attack on the capitol. The special counsel is evaluating that evidence and more, and if he brings charges, I am confident there will be a strong basis for doing so.

Hate speech has exploded on Twitter in the last year, and as the company has fired both content moderators and security experts, user data is also deeply at risk. I asked FTC Chair, Lina Khan to address this, along with the efforts the FTC is making to hold Twitter accountable:
