It’s that time of year again! I get a lot of people asking about costume contact lenses. Generally I’d say skip them, they aren’t worth the risk (see the corneal ulcer on the last slide that can cause permanent scarring /blindness from an incorrectly worn contact lens)
But if you reallllyyyy wanna wear them, they still need to be fitted and checked by an optometrist. If the doctor isn’t sure of any brands, I’ve had some luck with the “gothika” website/brand. But they NEED to be done by your eye doctor!!
