Less than 24 hours in the UK then fly to Namibia for @discovery channel to film all new #Marooned. My favourite survival format where I just have a pair or shorts, two hands and half a brain to aim to not just survive – but thrive 😎. Here we go again…. 😏

I’ve been quiet for a while; getting the kids into a new eco bilingual school (which they love!), buying a battered 21-year-old @toyota #sequoia, and finding somewhere a bit more permanent for the family to stay in the jungle. 🍃
I’m writing this from my hammock on Father’s Day missing home (very lightly) for the first time. I guess there is time to reflect now and we are very lucky indeed to have friends and family back home, and a little wood which would be stunning right now if we were back in the UK. And slightly less sweaty too 🥵.
Our plan (tentatively) is to go back to England in 5 years when Ran is 10/11, so we didn’t sell up. Just rented the house out and sorted an amazing manager (@the_sleepy_explorer) for the pods in the woods (my favourite bit of home). 💚
