Gabe Dunn Instagram – I’ve spent a lot of time heart sick and thinking about what to do. I wanted some tangible way to help people and I’ve always been inspired by the work of Rainbow Railroad. If you’ve never heard of them, they’re an organization that rescues LGBTQIA people from humanitarian crises and dangerous places. Is it a perfect idea to take queer people out of these places? No, but I consider it emergency harm reduction of the highest order. They are INUNDATED with people reaching out for help. Every 60 days, @RainbowRailroad receives 2,441 requests for help from LGBTQI+ people at-risk around the world. So over the final 60 days of the year, you and I can help support Rainbow Railroad through their annual #60in60 campaign. It’s a campaign they do every year and it comes at a critical time. This #60in60, Rainbow Railroad is raising funds to help at least 60 people get to safety through emergency evacuation, at least 60 people receive life-saving financial assistance, and at least 60 people receive information services, psychosocial and community supports.  Visit rainbowrailroad.org/60in60 to learn more and support their work.
