Rafael dos Anjos Instagram – Fourteen years ago, on this very date, I took my first step towards UFC glory. And guess where it happened? 🇺🇸 Texas, of all places. Now, isn’t that some God’s coincidence? 🙌🏻
Back then, I was just a young gun with big dreams, and UFC was the ultimate battleground. I had trained hard, sweated buckets, and sacrificed more pizza slices than I’d like to admit. But all that effort paid off when I stepped into that octagon.🥊
After two defeats in the organization I achieved my first victory. And it was also in Texas that I won my UFC tittle.🏆
Fast forward to today, and here I am, living in the Lone Star State. Call it fate, call it destiny, but it’s like the God knew this was my place. So, here’s to that unforgettable victory, my first belt, and the one that kicked off this wild UFC journey, and here’s to Texas!🎯

Há quatorze anos, nesta mesma data, dei meu primeiro passo rumo à glória no UFC. E adivinha onde isso aconteceu? No Texas. Isso não é alguma coincidência de Deus?
Naquela época, eu era apenas um jovem com grandes sonhos, e o UFC era o campo de batalha definitivo. Eu treinei muito, suei muito e sacrifiquei mais fatias de pizza mais do que gostaria. Mas todo esse esforço valeu a pena quando entrei naquele octógono. Depois de duas derrotas na organização, eu consegui minha primeira vitória. E foi também no Texas que ganhei meu título do UFC.
Avançando até hoje, aqui estou, morando no Estado da Estrela Solitária. Chame isso de fato, chame de destino, mas é como se Deus soubesse que este era o meu lugar.
