I usually hate phone calls, they give me anxiety but not only is James a magician when it comes to art he’s also incredibly easy to chat too. This is our collab and im looking forward to further chats and further Art-ing. if you’re wondering, Elons Musk Smells of ‘’That new car smell’’ and Static Electricity. And everyone is going to ‘’Your Mums’’ cos they’ve heard things. Robbie’s Elon’s Musk painting made me think of the fresh and stinky scent of our digital age. Typewriter art is raw and screen-less and I like the idea that some technologies never die. The Routemaster art is a take on the meta; the typewriter-typing-the-typewriter typing a bus…(are you following this?) I have a big grin on my face writing this because I’ve loved chatting with him over the past few weeks. Robbie is part of the typewriter gang!”
